We were happy to welcome Jay Rock and Schoolboy Q to the facility in Toronto to record some material for an up and coming release.
Jay Rock, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor from Watts, California. He is best known for his 2008 commercial debut single, “All My Life (In the Ghetto)”, which features fellow American rappers Lil Wayne and will.i.am. After teasing a 2018 release in January, his new album, titled Redemption, was announced on May 21, 2018, alongside the cover art and its release date, which is scheduled for June 15, 2018.
ScHoolboy Q), is an American hip hop recording artist from South Central Los Angeles, California. After signing with Interscope, ScHoolboy Q subsequently began recording his major-label debut studio album, titled Oxymoron. The album was released on February 25, 2014 and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. The album was supported by the singles, “Collard Greens”, “Man of the Year”, “Break the Bank” “Studio” and “Hell of a Night”, with “Collard Greens”, “Man of the Year” and “Studio” all charting on the US Billboard Hot 100chart. In June 2017, Schoolboy Q revealed on social media that he had made several songs during the recording process of his fifth studio album. In September 2017, Schoolboy Q announced the album was “90% done.
